Overview

Hood River County Code Compliance is a complaint-driven, community-based program responsible for areas outside the City Limits of Hood River and Cascade Locks to ensure zoning, land-use, and certain health/safety ordinances are not violated. Citizen complaints are filed through the HRC Planning Department and fees for code violations are administered through the HRC staff. The program primarily receives, investigates, and processes land use, nuisance, and solid waste code complaints, and responds to public questions related to compliance requirements, procedures and practices.
